1997 (10-9-1) Washburn joins Dragons - knocked out by Jackets in Gm3 playoffs
1998 (12-9) Knocked out by Pirates in Gm3 playoffs on walk off HR. HOF David Zanaty joins
1999 (11-9) Knocked out by Georgia Tech. Led 1-0 in 9th. Lost 2-1 on walk off walk. Paul Brooks complete game gem. HOF's Ken Taylor, Wayne Hauenstein, and Paul Brooks 1st year.
2000 (12-10) Washburn 1st year as Mgr. - Knocked out by Dodgers in 2 gms
2001 (14-9) Frazier back as Mgr til 9/11/01 - was on a plane to Japan when 9/11 happened. HOF Rusty Umphenour joins the team. Knocked out in the championship by the West Atlanta Astros in 2 games.
2002 (15-5-1) Washburn 2nd yr as Mgr - knocked out by White Sox in 2 gms
2003 (13-12) Cade McIntyre 1st year - knocked out by East Marietta Indians in 2 gms
2004 (12-6) RED DRAGON created and North Cobb becomes home field. Knocked out by Longhorns on 8th inning go ahead HR by future Dragon, Jamie Murff.
2005 (15-9) Beat the Beast (14-2-2) in the quarters in Gm3 - Lost to the Cougars in Gm3 of semi's. Aaron Bickhart joins the team w/ former Longhorns Tony Lawrence, Travis Copeland, Michael Lee, and Jamie Murff.
2006 (17-7) Started off 9-0, best in history. Knocked out by Titans in Gm3 of semi's - Ed Emerson, Tommy Meek, and Jeremy Duffy join the Dragons.
2007 (8-12) Biggest win in Dragons history (30-0) vs the Cardinals. Worst season since 1996
2008 * Tigers/Dragons combine for 1 season
2009 (11-8) First year back as Dragons. Knocked out by Astros in 2 gms. Dermond, Suvak join Dragons.
2010 (11-13) 60 runs in 1st 3 games (2-1) Beat Cherokees in Gm3, Lost to Ninjas -James Cooper and Clay Mead join Dragons
2011 (19-6) Most wins in Dragons history for a season - Lost to Mudcats in Gm3 of Championship
2012 (12-8) Swept the Cubs in the quarterfinals. Knocked out by Mudcats in 2 gms in the semi's.
2013 (13-8) Lost to Cherokees in gm3 in 10 innings 11-10. They scored 6 in t10th and we scored 5 in b10th. We had the winning run on 2nd with 1 out.
2014 (12-8) Swept in 1st round of playoffs by the Barracudas
2015 (13-7) Lost to Cherokees in gm3 of semi's - 3rd place in Florida Classic Nov, 2016. Brendan Pilger joins the Dragons hits 9 HR's his rookie year.
2016 (21-4-1) Best regular season of all time (16-2). EMBL Tournament Champs, May 2016. Beat the Cigars in semi's in 2 games. Played in MSBL championship and eliminated by the Cherokees in game 3. The Dragons revamp the team and add Chris Haggard, Glenn Harbin, Justin Myles, Stefan Lollar, and Dan Sarisky.
2017 (20-5-1) EMBL Tournament Champions - Dragons 13, Brewers 3 - Clinched #1 seed in the 25 National on 8/20/17 with 4-1 win over the Cherokees.
Swept the Black Sox in the semi's and beat the Cherokees in game 3 to win our 1st Atlanta MSBL 25+ National Championship.
2018 (24-4) Dragons 23rd season and improved to 21-2 overall on opening day. EMBL Champs for 3rd year in a row with 16-0 win over the EMBL Pirates on 4/28/18.
Swept the Black Sox in the semi's and swept the Cherokees (5-0, 2-1) for the Championship. Back to back MSBL 25+ National Champs. 3rd place in Fall Classic, West Palm Beach, FL, Nov, 2018.
2019 (18-8-2) Dragons win opening day to improve to 22-2 over 24 years. Manager, Brett Washburn, picks up his 250th managerial win with game 2 win over EMBL Blue Jays. Lose to GT Elite, MS in the EMBL Ship. Dragons beat the Black Sox in game 3 of the MSBL semi's and lose 2 to the Tainos for the MSBL Championship. In October, the Dragons went to the USAB World Series in Myrtle Beach, SC and went 2-3, with all 3 losses in the 10th inning.
2020 (6-7) This was a crazy year. The season didn't start until July 12th due to Covid. Could never get on track all year and were missing some players due to health concerns. Finished as a 4 seed and were knocked out by the eventual MSBL champion Tainos.
2021 (15-8) Back to a full season of baseball and played some games at Lakepoint for the 1st time. Had a big end of season win vs the Black Sox to clinch the 2 seed but then were upset by the Muckdogs in a playoff sweep to finish the season.
2022 (17-4) After starting the season 2-2, the Dragons went on an 11 game win streak before falling to the 18+ NL Reds 3-2. Manager, Brett Washburn, picks up his 300th managerial win over the Magic on July 24th. After then beating the Outlaws on the final regular season game, the Squeaks knocked off the Dragons in gm1 of the playoffs before a new 4 game win streak to cap off a championship vs the Cigars gave the Dragons their 3rd MSBL Championship in the last 6 years.
2023 (17-3-1) The Dragons started the 2023 campaign 3-2, enduring a 2 game losing streak ending June 4th and went on to go 12-0-1 before dropping the season finale to the Outlaws. In the playoffs vs the Cherokees, in gm 1, facing a 5-3 deficit in the bottom of the 7th and final inning, Cole Outz hit a walk off grand slam for the game winner. He would go on to hit another grand slam in gm 2 and advance the Dragons to the championship vs the Cigars. The Dragons would sweep the Cigars for the 2nd yr in a row, capped off by a gm 2, Cole Outz bases loaded single that would score 2 for a 8-7 victory for the Dragons 4th championship in seasons.
2024 (16-8) The Dragons had to replace over 1/2 the team due to retirement, jobs, family, etc. 12 new Dragons debuted in the '24 season and we started out 8-3 with the new squad. After a 3 game losing streak at the end of July, the Dragons found their stride and reeled off 8 wins in a row and making it to the championship for the 3rd year in a row. This time, we could not get past the Cigars and got swept in the ship after sweeping the Punishers and Black Sox in the playoffs.
