The Dragons grabbed an early 4-0 lead on back to back singles from Justin Clark and Stef Lollar. Edikson Zaro's sac fly made it 1-0 in the 1st. 3 walks and an RBI single from Matt Bishop got it to 4-0.

The Cherokees answered with single runs in the 3rd and 4th to cut it to 4-2.

The wheels fell off for the Dragons in a 4 run 5th from the Cherokees, helped by 3 walks, 3 Dragons errors, and just 1 hit.

Stef Lollar tossed 3 scoreless to keep the Dragons in it and contributed a run scoring double to cut it to 6-5 in the 6th, however, the Dragons stranded 5 runners over the final 3 innings and couldn't come up with the big hit this time around.

The Dragons dropped to 11-4 on the season with an astonishing 10 one run games of the 15 decisions.
