The Dragons (6-2) took on ABC (7-1) in a showdown of 25+ and 18+ current leaders in the standings. This was a makeup from a rainout earlier in June and the Dragons were ready to play getting on the board with 2 in the 1st on a bases loaded hit by pitch and RBI for Edikson Zaro followed by a balk.

In the ABC 1st, a 2 out HR and unearned run tied the game at 2. The Dragons answered quickly with a 5 run 2nd after consectutive singles from Julian Sewell, Jose Mendoza, Tarik Frelow Jr, Justin Clark RBI single, and Stef Lollar RBI single. Edikson Zaro would add an RBI single, and Matt Bishops SAC fly made it 7-2.

It would stay that way as Tournear shut them down in the 2nd and Stef Lollar pitched 2 scoreless through 4 innings.

In the Dragons 4th, a Clark (.485) single, Lollar walk set the table for Caleb Autry. Autry delivered a 3 run blast for his 2nd HR of the year and it was 10-2 Dragons.

Julian Sewell would pitch the last 3 innings allowing just 1 run and 1 hit, striking out 3 and picking up the 3 inning save.

Offensively, Clark had 2 hits, walk, and 3 runs scored. Lollar had a hit and 2 walks w/ 2 runs. Autry had 2 hits and a walk. Zaro reached 3x with a single, walk, and HBP w/ 2 RBI.

Tyler Moore walked twice and doubled to raise his OBP to .519. Julian Sewell singled twice and is hitting .333 through his first 3 games. Mendoza, Bishop, and Frelow each added a hit to the 12 hit attack.

The Dragons (7-2) will travel to Brookwood HS next Sunday, 7/13, 11am to face a familiar foe in a tough Black Sox team.
